Get up close and personal with monkeys at Trentham Monkey Forest. About 140 Barbary macaques roam freely through 24 hectares (60 acres) of English forest here. As you walk along the path, you'll see the monkeys hanging from trees, sitting on benches, and even walking right next to you. Listen to expert guides and read information boards along the path to learn more about the monkeys and their habitat. The site features two playgrounds for children, a cafe, and covered picnic areas. Parking is free. Nice to see the free roaming monkeys but most of the enclosure is empty. The staff seemed nice and knowledgeable.

It was wet and cold, but still plenty of Monkeys wandering about for us to see. The toilets were well maintained and under cover searing available to eat your dinner. The staff were helpful, friendly and informative. 2 hour slot perfect for a leisurely walk round and a bite to eat

What a lovely place! It's the most 'wholesome' place I have ever seen, without any doubt. The people that are working here and the people that own here are doing an incredible job by protecting one of the endangered species, and treating those animals kindly. I can easily say that those monkeys are living a good life, in an environment that is as close to the wildlife environment as possible. The animals are fed very well, they can roam around in a large area and they can socialise with dozens of monkeys. It is probably the only wildlife park where you can get really close to a monkey, which is a beautiful experience that you will never ever forget. Monkeys are friendly towards the visitors, so there won't be a problem regarding safety in case you are wondering. The staff are extremely helpful and nice people, they always give important information about the monkeys with a great passion. Special thanks to Danny and Adam, they are really friendly and enthusiastic about their job. It was very nice to chat with them. Greetings from Turkey! :)
