Create an itinerary including Itanda Falls
An up-and-coming kayaking and whitewater rafting area on the Nile, Itanda Falls offers a spectacular set of rapids and cascades amid lush, hilly greenery. Feel the power of rushing water and hear the sound of the roaring river at the falls, which have three levels of rapids. Forest islands in the midst of the cascades make them particularly scenic. Locals consider the falls sacred, inspiring a British prince to pay a visit to this hidden gem of Uganda. • Great water falls. Due to increased water level across the globe, the jutting water makes for great viewing. It's vast space also provides for a camping or at least picnic site
  • It was exciting to watch the falls thunder downstream, one can enjoy kayaking and white water rafting along the different falls. There are guides to help people stay safe and to walk people around for a fee. Prices are different for local and foreign tourists. Overall I enjoyed reconnecting with mother nature. The area still needs a lot of development as it lacks basic infrastructure like public rest rooms, cafes etc A fee is paid at the entrance.
