I) Craterlakes Exploration Tour

Duration: 6hrs

Price: 40,000UGX per person

Details: Visit to 9 craterlakes and lavapipe.

II) Mahoma falls Tour

Duration: 3hrs

Price: 25,000UGX per person (includes entrance fees to the waterfalls)

Details: 3 Craterlakes + waterfalls (passes several local communities)



III) Community Walk

Duration: 6hrs

Price: 15000UGX per person

Details: Walk and experience communities livelihood

IV) Motobike tour

Duration: 7hrs

Price: 50,000 UGX per person

Details: Includes several craterlakes, drive through kibale forest, and community experience (price includes fuel, motobike hire for 7hrs and drivers).

V) Top of the world tour

Duration: 3 hr

Price: 15000 UGX per person (including entrance fee)

Details: Hike to viewpoint "Top of the World"

VI) Tea Farm Tour

Duration: 5 hrs (if walking). Shorter if taking boda boda

Price: 40,000 UGX per person (includes entrance to tea plantation)

Details: Learn more about tea planting and visit a tea plantation. Tour also passes by 4 crater lakes.



VII) Vanilla Farm Tour

Duration: 3hrs

Price: 25,000 UGX (includes entrance to vanilla farm)

Details: Find out how vanilla is grown and cultivated. Tours also passes some craterlakes and local community.

VIII) Rwenzori Mountain Mini Hike

Duration: 6hrs

Price: USD100 for a group of up to 4 people (includes car hire, fuel, driver's allowance and entrance fees)

Details: Hiking up into the mountain, 3hrs and shower in a hotspring as well as enjoy a great view.

IX) Canoeing Tour (NEW!)

Duration: 3-5hrs

Price: 20,000 UGX per person (15000UGX per person for a group of 3 people) (includes canoe hire)

Details: Canoe on either Lake Kifuruka (40mins) or Lake Mwamba (1hr 30min)

X) Birding Tour

Duration: 3hrs

Price: 20,000 UGX per person (15,000 UGX per person for a group of 3 people) ​(~USD6)*

Details: Birding tour in our local bushlands and around the lakes and swamps. Recommend activity times are either 6:30am-9:00am or 3:00pm-6:45pm.

Unless stated otherwise, tours starts at 8am at Mbuga primary school around Ndali lodge junction. The tour is led by Noah who has is a professional tour guide and speaks excellent English. Tours finish again at Mbuga primary school.

To bring: Sun-tan Lotion, towel (for bathing in the waterfalls), water bottle, good walking shoes.

*Lunch is not included in the price but can be arranged.

*Pickup to/from Fort Portal and Rwiahamba can also be arranged.

To get to ​Mbuga primary school, if you are in Fort Portal, hop on a boda boda (Motor cycle) to Kamwenge Stage (approximately 1,000UGX*). From there, take a shared taxi and ask to be dropped off at Rwaihamba market/trading centre (costs approximately 5,000 UGX*). Finally, take a boda boda to Mbuga Primary School (costs approximately 2,000 UGX*). Total trip time is about 45mins.
