Swim in the natural hot pools of Pamukkale Natural Park, a World Heritage Site that counts Egyptian queen Cleopatra among its many guests over the past millenia. This "cotton castle" features 17 hot springs, travertine terraces, and the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis. Paddle a boat around the lake or take a healing bath in a small mud pod. A museum set in an ancient public bath and the open areas of a library and gymnasium exhibits historical artifacts from Hierapolis as well as some fine examples of Bronze Age craft. Rest at the park's cafe with views of the surrounding landscape. Put Pamukkale Natural Park at the forefront of your travel plans using our Pamukkale trip itinerary builder.

  • Provides an alternative view of the travertines. There are paddle boats available for hire in the adjoining pond. Nearby shops and restaurants are great for a pit stop on the return from Pamukkale.
  • As it was expected, touristic places are tough. It was so crowded, water is only in several pools. And it was freaking hot🥵
