Create an itinerary including Hierapolis
Explore ancient thermal spas and take a dip yourself at Hierapolis, a World Heritage Site. Originally a thermal spa in 2nd century BCE, the Greek ruins of baths, temples, and monuments are still visible today at Hierapolis. Visit the on-site Hierapolis Archaeology Museum to see tombs, monuments, and ruined theatre artifacts. Nearby Pamukkale is a diverse arrangement of hot springs--some for swimming and some for scenic appreciation. One notable area, sometimes referred to as Cleopatra's swimming pool, features a set of tiered travertines on top of which bright aquamarine water gathers. Arrange to visit Hierapolis and other attractions in Pamukkale using our Pamukkale trip planner.

  • Feel in love with this place. My watch showed 24500 steps in this area alone. And I didn't cover even half of the places. 1 full day is not enough. Like Ephesus, this city is also stunning. Vast area.
  • Amazing site. Will easily fill a day to visit. Tour groups tend to spend but a few hrs which is not nearly enough to really soak up this site.
