Create an itinerary including Manavgat Waterfall
Surrounded by shops, cafes, and restaurants, Manavgat Waterfall combines natural beauty with a host of entertainment and dining options. Although the falls are only a few meters high, the wide riverbed and fast-flowing blue water create an impressive spectacle. The river is refreshingly cold, welcoming overheated visitors to dip their toes in the adjoining ponds. On the banks you can rest in shaded teahouses, where you can sample a traditional Turkish tea or coffee alongside landscaped gardens. • Nice waterfall, not massive. The kids liked getting the photos with the parrots, just a little pricy. Some cafes and stalls there but could do with modernising.

  • The boat along the river was lovely, then you need to be bused to the bigger waterfall. You can actually walk in the water there. Our guide took us to the bus driver and they were all very...

  • We visited the falls yesterday. The entrance fee is 10 TL and 5-7 TL for the toilets. Stop for this is that there are free Turkish style toilets in the public barbecue area next door, which are completely free. A great idea if you also want to have a barbecue or just a picnic, you take your own fuel (wood or charcoal) with you. There are lots of barbecues and picnic tables there. Back to the waterfall, it is spectacular, with a powerful flow of water, no strenuous walking needed here. There are viewing platforms laid out just above and on the water level if you go to the edge for a closer photo, you will get your feet wet! I imagine you will spend no more than an hour here, but the area is surrounded inside by shops and restaurants, very touristy, or you could go to some of the restaurants across the street or bring a picnic and pop next door. Parking is free next to the falls entrance.
  • Nice place to visit but only small. Only one waterfall and some cafes, stalls and souvenir shops. Was only 7 lira to get in which is less than a £1 and children were free.
