    A beautiful castle. It was closed for renovations when we visited and had been for a while. Apparently a tourist plunged to their death a few years ago and it's been closed since for safety reasons. Having been up some other Turkish castles I can well understand their concerns! Even from the outside though the castle is quite impressive. Get there after dark and you can see it illuminated with big floodlights.

    The castle was closed for renovations, but took lots of pics, even looking down from a top Arsameia. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Very nice from the outside.
