It's easy to walk to from Goreme. Just keep heading uphill. Get there around 9.30 and you'll have the place to yourself. It was fantastic being in them alone (excluding the security man). Even easier walking back. The place is awesome. Pay the extra entrance fee for the Dark church, it is breathtaking.

One can never go wrong with a historical site visit. Just being there showed me how far we've come as a human society in terms of infrastructure. I was amazed and loved walking through church after church. All in all, it was a great experience!
