Termessos Ruins
Surrounded by dense pine forests and a multitude of wild plants, Termessos Ruins represents one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Turkey. Notable architectural structures of the city include the agora and the Roman theatre, which are joined by a large arched entrance. Look for the five small rooms under the stage where wild animals were kept before being taken into the arena. A king's road with wide porticoes winds within the city walls, and you'll see the remains of a gymnasium with an internal courtyard, an odeon, six temples of varying sizes, towers, Hadrian's gate, and the necropolis with hundreds of sarcophagi. this is a picturesque city built in the mountains and left to nature as a park. Requires hiking and negotiating rocks, fun if you like hiking/climbing and beautiful setting

If you like ruins then this place has to be on your bucket list. While it was unconquered by Alexander The Great, nature is winning that battle. Most of it is in ruins, but they are impressive. It's a long winding road up to the parking spot (but on a good road) and then a 45 min steep uphill climb, so wear good trainers. But what waits is well worth it. Lots to see (signposts in the site could be better) so allow lots of time. Take food and lots of water.

A must see... it's a good hike up to the ruins. Must have good hiking shoes as the terrain is rough and slippery in some places. Be sure to take a bottle or two of water. The view from above is spectacular. After the hike, back at the base, it is an idea place for an enjoyable picnic.
