Eschew the tourist crowds and head to El Trapiche Tour and The Bat Jungle. Get outdoors at Monteverde Nature Guided Tours and San Luis Waterfall. The adventure continues: ride a horse along Finca el Rodeo, tour the pleasant surroundings at Ranario Monteverde Frog Pond, indulge in some personalized pampering at Monteverde Massage Center, and stop by Souvenir Rosewood-Info Center.

La Fortuna de San Carlos — 4 nights

Set against the backdrop of the imposing Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna de San Carlos offers visitors a chance to explore diverse natural landscapes and sample some delicious local produce.
