Kampala enjoys the reputation of a modern city with a buzzing atmosphere--it also serves as a good base point for exploring the surrounding area.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kampala: Entebbe (Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, Lake Victoria, &more). Spend the 21st (Sun) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. Spend the 23rd (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour.
