One of the cities of the Barossa Valley wine-producing region, Tanunda has an easygoing atmosphere stemming from its close connection with agriculture and viniculture.

Port Lincoln — 2 nights

Primarily a marine industry town, Port Lincoln has about as many marina trawlers and grain silos as luxury yachts.
On the 14th (Tue), meet some fierce fish with a shark diving experience and then take in the pleasant sights at Stamford Hill Loop Hike. On the next day, indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, then get great views at Winter Hill Lookout, and then take in the pleasant sights at Parnkalla Walking Trail.

Hawker — 2 nights

Hawker is a town in the Flinders Ranges area of South Australia, 365km north of Adelaide. Start off your visit on the 16th (Thu): walk around Flinders Ranges National Park. Keep things going the next day: pause for some photo ops at Hawker War Memorial, get great views at Wangara Lookout, and then explore the striking landscape at Wilpena Pound.
