The capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, boasts an impressive medieval quarter--one of the continent's largest and a World Heritage Site with almost 2,000 historical buildings.

Anyksciai — 2 nights

Anykščiai is a ski resort town in Lithuania, 20mi west of Utena. On the 8th (Tue), walk around VestuviU Kalnas, walk around Dauniskio Park, and then take a stroll through Utenio Square. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Wed): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of Apostle Evangelist St. Matthew, then see the interesting displays at Angels Museum, then see the interesting displays at Narrow-Gauge Railway Museum, and finally steep yourself in history at The Historical Complex of Seimyniskeliai Mound.

Šiauliai is the fourth largest city in Lithuania, with a population of 133,900.
