Port Pirie — 27 nights

Port Pirie is the sixth most populous city in South Australia after Adelaide, Mount Gambier, Whyalla, Murray Bridge and Port Lincoln. Do some cultural sightseeing at The Farm Shed Museum and Point Lowly Lighthouse. Step out of the city life by going to Bowman Park and Iron Knob Tourist Centre & Mine Tours. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Port Pirie: Burra (Burra Regional Art Gallery, Burra Heritage Trail, &more), Moonta (Moonta Heritage Trail 38, The Copper Coast, &more) and Whyalla (Whyalla Maritime Museum, Whyalla Conservation Park, &more). Spend the 28th (Fri) exploring nature at Mount Remarkable National Park. The adventure continues: contemplate the long history of Wallaroo Heritage Trail 37, learn about winemaking at Penna Lane Wines, take an in-depth tour of Town Carriage Museum, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at St Aloysius Church.
