The largest city on Canada's eastern coastline, Halifax boast a rich maritime history and occupies a strategically important location with one of the world's greatest natural harbors.
Venture out of the city with trips to Swissair Flight 111 Memorial (in Indian Harbour), Peggy's Cove (Peggy's Cove Lighthouse & William E. deGarthe Memorial Provincial Park) and Cleveland Beach Provincial Park (in Black Point).
