Selcuk — 4 nights

An ideal base camp for exploring the Aegean coastline, Selcuk draws big tourist crowds due to its proximity to the ancient city of Ephesus.
Step out of Selcuk with an excursion to Magnesia Antik Kenti in Germencik--about 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Ancient City of Ephesus, ponder the design of Trajan's Fountain, examine the collection at Camlik Locomotive Museum, and delve into the distant past at Public Latrine.

When in Pamukkale, make a side trip to see Aphrodisias in Geyre, approximately Geyre away. There's still lots to do: witness a stunning natural landmark at Pamukkale Thermal Pools, contemplate the long history of Hierapolis, push the limits with an extreme tour, and Head underground at Kaklik Cave.
