Florence — 23 nights

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Change things up with these side-trips from Florence: Greve in Chianti (Azienda Agricola Altiero (Winery), Montefioralle Winery, &more), Pisa (Leaning Tower of Pisa & Piazza dei Miracoli) and Torre Guinigi (in Lucca). Dedicate the 31st (Thu) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Florence Academy of Fine Arts, take in the spiritual surroundings of The Baptistery of St. John, take in nature's colorful creations at The Boboli Gardens, and see the interesting displays at Pitti Palace.
