Zurich — 3 nights

The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Family-friendly places like Lake Zurich and Old Town will thrill your kids. Step out of Zurich with an excursion to Rhine Falls in Neuhausen am Rheinfall--about 42 minutes away. There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at Museum of Art (Kunsthaus Zurich), take a stroll through Bahnhofstrasse, take in the awesome beauty at Uetliberg Mountain, and make a trip to Zurich Succulent Plant Collection.

Lucerne — 7 nights

In north-central Switzerland, Lucerne represents a small city boasting a well-preserved old town.
Kids will enjoy Lake Lucerne and Rigi. Venture out of the city with trips to Natur- und Tierpark Goldau (in Goldau), Sattel Hochstuckli (in Sattel) and Engelberg (Titlis Cliff Walk & Titlis). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Mt Pilatus, enjoy the sand and surf at Seebad Eich, don't miss a visit to Lago Ritom, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Seebad Mit Strand Am Vierwaldstattersee.

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
Kids will enjoy Parasailing & Paragliding and BOHAG Helikopterrundflug. Change things up with a short trip to Aare Gorge in Meiringen (about 32 minutes away).
