Falmouth — 20 nights

Falmouth is the chief town and capital of the parish of Trelawny in Jamaica. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Falmouth: Discovery Bay (Puerto Seco Beach & Columbus Park), Runaway Bay (Sharkies Beach, Green Grotto Caves, &more) and Ilysse Experiences: Culture Market Jamaica (in Unity). There's lots more to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at Bob Marley Museum, make a trip to Patwa Apparel, get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, and get your game on at Paintball Jamaica.

To plan Falmouth vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

Montego Bay to Falmouth is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also take a bus. In October, daily temperatures in Falmouth can reach 90°F, while at night they dip to 76°F. You will leave for home on the 27th (Thu).

Home to Jamaica's most rugged area of wilderness and some of its best preserved colonial architecture, Trelawny Parish balances the manmade and the natural with ease. The parish capital, Falmouth, displays a large collection of Georgian homes, government buildings, and places of worship, as well as the large plantations and estates which made the wealth for the town during the colonial era. To the south, an uninhabitable area of cockpits, sinkholes, underground passages, and caves provide a setting for a large nature reserve, with most of Jamaica's endemic species to be found here. The home parish of Usain Bolt and many other famous track and field athletes, tourism in Trelawny Parish has been growing in recent years because of interest in the sprinter and, ironically, the parish's leisurely pace of life.
