Lunenburg — 3 nights

An hour's drive from Halifax's international airport, Luneburg boasts both colorful buildings and a colorful history, as well as status as a World Heritage Site.
For shopping fun, head to Amos Pewter or Market on the Mersey. Take a break from Lunenburg with a short trip to Crescent Beach in Lockeport, about 1h 30 min away.
