Ceduna — 2 nights

Ceduna is a town in South Australia located on the shores of Murat Bay on the west coast of Eyre Peninsula. Take a break from the city and head to Goog's Track and Cactus Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Encounter Walking Trail and Penong Windmill Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Penong (Woolshed Museum & Point Sinclair). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Arts Ceduna and take some stellar pictures from Head of Bight.

Sydney to Ceduna is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Sydney to Ceduna, you'll gain 0.5 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Sydney in November, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Ceduna, with lows of 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Sun) early enough to drive to Streaky Bay.

Streaky Bay — 2 nights

Streaky Bay is a coastal town on the western side of the Eyre Peninsula, in South Australia just off the Flinders Highway 303 km north west of Port Lincoln and 727 km by road from Adelaide. Start off your visit on the 21st (Mon): see the interesting displays at Great White Shark Replica, then cruise along Cape Bauer Loop Drive, then explore the striking landscape at Whistling Rocks and the Blowholes, and finally walk around Islands Caravan Park. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the waterfront views at Smooth Pool, see the interesting displays at Streaky Bay National Trust Museum, and then take in the waterfront at Streaky Bay Jetty.

Minnipa — 2 nights

Minnipa is a small town serving the local grain growing community located on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. Start off your visit on the 23rd (Wed): pause for some photo ops at The Australian Farmer, then don't miss a visit to Tcharkuldu Rock, and then explore the striking landscape at Pildappa Rock. On the next day, take in the dramatic natural features at Turtle Rock, then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Wudinna, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Polda Rock.

Whyalla — 3 nights

Whyalla is the third most populous city in the Australian state of South Australia after Adelaide and Mount Gambier. Discover out-of-the-way places like Point Lowly Lighthouse and Fitzgerald Bay. Take a break from the city and head to Whyalla Diving Services and Iron Knob Tourist Centre & Mine Tours. Change things up with these side-trips from Whyalla: Port Augusta (Matthew Flinders Red Cliff Lookout & Water Tower Lookout). Cowell is a coastal town on Franklin Harbor on the eastern side of the Eyre Peninsula, in South Australia on the Lincoln Highway 111 km south of the major town of Whyalla. Port Lincoln — 5 nights

Primarily a marine industry town, Port Lincoln has about as many marina trawlers and grain silos as luxury yachts.
Escape the urban bustle at Mikkira Station and Fishery Bay. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Sleaford Bay and Koppio Smithy Museum.
