Lucerne — 4 nights

In north-central Switzerland, Lucerne represents a small city boasting a well-preserved old town.
Bring the kids along to Lake Zurich and Hofkirche. Explore hidden gems such as Lake Brienz and Giessbachfälle. Explore Lucerne's surroundings by going to Maennlichen (in Grindelwald) and Reichenbach Waterfall (in Meiringen). There's much more to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at The Eiger, pause for some photo ops at Lion Monument, explore the activities along Lake Lucerne, and don't miss a visit to The Nine Towers.

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Lucerne is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of ferry and car. Traveling from Jeddah to Lucerne, you'll gain 2 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Jeddah in August, expect Lucerne to be much colder, temps between 28°C and 16°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Lauterbrunnen.

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
