Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Rome is known for historic sites, sightseeing, and nightlife. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, make a trip to Spanish Steps, delve into the distant past at Colosseum, and admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon.

For reviews, maps, photos, and more tourist information, use the Rome vacation planner.

Tel Aviv, Israel to Rome is an approximately 7-hour flight. You'll gain 1 hour traveling from Tel Aviv to Rome due to the time zone difference. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Tel Aviv in February, with highs in Rome at 16°C and lows at 5°C. Naples — 8 nights

Naples is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Naples: Pompeii (Forum Baths & Terme del Foro), Ravello (Villa Cimbrone Gardens, Duomo di Ravello, &more) and Amalfi (Amalfi Coast Drive, Museo della Carta, &more). There's still lots to do: explore the ancient world of Pompeii Archaeological Park, get engrossed in the history at Galleria Borbonica, admire the masterpieces at Museo e Real Bosco di Capodimonte, and make a trip to Piazza del Plebiscito.
