Belize City — 3 nights

Belize's biggest urban center, Belize City is a culturally diverse seaside destination.
Explore Belize City's surroundings by going to Altun Ha (in Rock Stone Pond) and The Belize Zoo (in La Democracia). On the 6th (Wed), spend a relaxing day on the river with a rafting and tubing tour. There's still lots to do: explore the gorgeous colors at Mesoamerican Reef (Belize Barrier Reef), examine the collection at Museum of Belize, stop by Caribbean Spice Belize, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Queen Street Baptist church.

Once a humble fishing village, Placencia has been transformed into a leading tourist destination, with its focus primarily on outdoor activity and natural exploration.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Thu): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Placencia Fellowship, then step off the mainland to explore Laughing Bird Caye National Park, and then look for gifts at Pyramid House Wine Etc. San Ignacio — 3 nights

Cayo Town

The cultural hub of the district, San Ignacio neatly blends tourism and tradition, expats and indigenous peoples into a convincingly authentic, but modern and welcoming inland town.
Take a break from San Ignacio with a short trip to Blue Hole National Park in Belmopan, about 46 minutes away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, stroll through Green Iguana Conservation Project, Head underground at ATM Cave Belize- Actun Tunichil Muknal, and delve into the distant past at Cahal Pech.
