Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Istanbul in January: highs in Goreme hover around 5°C, while lows dip to -4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Wed) early enough to fly to Pamukkale.

Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Thu): get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour and then delve into the distant past at Hierapolis.

The first Ottoman capital and a World Heritage Site, Bursa is known as "The Royal Springs" for its famous hot mineral waters--though it offers much more than your typical spa destination.
Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire the landmark architecture of Ulu Cami and then explore the landscape on two wheels at Uludag Ski Center.
