The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Old Town and Chapel Bridge. Change things up with these side-trips from Zurich: Lucerne (Hofkirche, Lion Monument, &more) and St Gallus Catholic Church (in Kriens). Saas-Fee — 2 nights

Saas-Fee is the main village in the Saastal, or the Saas Valley, and is a municipality in the district of Visp in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. You've now added Eskimos Ski School to your itinerary. Kick off your visit on the 4th (Sat): learn and have fun at Eskimos Ski School, then hit the slopes at Saas-Fee Ski Resort, then don't miss a visit to Ice Pavilion, and finally hit the slopes at Swiss Ski School Saas Fee. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: stroll through Saastal Bergbahnen and then take in the dramatic natural features at Aletsch Glacier.

You can do a combination of train and bus from Zurich to Saas-Fee in 4.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can drive to Zermatt.

Zermatt — 2 nights

Best known as home the Matterhorn mountain, Zermatt serves as a chic ski resort town of the Swiss Alps.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Zermatt Ski School European Snowsport (ES). Kids will enjoy Gornergrat and The Matterhorn. There's still lots to do: tour along fresh powder with Zermatt-Matterhorn Ski Paradise, make a trip to Mountaineers' Cemetery, pause for some serene contemplation at Parish Church of St. Mauritius, and enjoy some diversion at Clay Shoot Zermatt.
