As one of the country's oldest ski resorts, Grindewald serves as a prime example of a cozy Swiss ski town.
Step out of Grindelwald with an excursion to Lake Brienz in Brienz--about 38 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Jungfraujoch, admire the sheer force of Trümmelbachfälle, contemplate the waterfront views at Bachalpsee Lake, and stroll through The Eiger.
