Antigua — 4 nights

The former capital of Guatemala and a World Heritage Site, Antigua retains its colonial charm and remains one of the most visited destinations in the country.
Get out of town with these interesting Antigua side-trips: Guatemala City (Paseo Cayala, Catedral Metropolitana, &more). And it doesn't end there: contemplate the geological forces at Volcán Pacaya, delve into the distant past at Convento de las Capuchinas, get engrossed in the history at Casa Santo Domingo Museums, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia de La Merced.
