The largest city on Canada's eastern coastline, Halifax boast a rich maritime history and occupies a strategically important location with one of the world's greatest natural harbors.Change things up with a short trip to Peggy's Cove Lighthouse in Peggy's Cove (about 48 minutes away). There's still lots to do: tour or see a game at Emera Oval, take a leisurely stroll along Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk, cast your line with Blue Shark Charters, and take in nature's colorful creations at Halifax Public Gardens.
