Panajachel — 1 night

A little town with a thriving tourism industry, Panajachel sits on the northern shore of scenic Atitlan Lake, one of Guatemala's major vacation destinations.On the 1st (Sat), explore the ancient world of Iximche. Here are some ideas for day two: look for all kinds of wild species at Reserva Natural Atitlán, then explore the activities along Lago de Atitlan, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St Francis.
