Visit Wat Pho, one of the six main Buddhist temples in Thailand. Admire the 46 m (151 ft) long Buddha statue and its memorable pose, and explore the wide range of temple buildings displaying rich and intricate religious designs and a history dating back to the 16th century. Vital to the spiritual and architectural heritage of the city and the country at large, the site houses the largest collection of Buddha depictions in Thailand. Said to be the first public university in the nation, the temple also has an illustrious educational history and still runs courses on traditional Thai massage and medicine. • A nice place to visit to be get in touch with the religious side of The Land of a Thousand Smiles. Lots of instagram-worthy photo spots around and the lovely architecture is really quite aesthetically pleasing. Also, be enchanted by the giant statue of Buddha lying sideways. It is really quite a sight. There is also a massage centre within this temple, from which many therapists hone their skills before they practice professionally as a massage therapist. The massage is good and the rates are affordable. The therapy cubicles are also comfortable too. I would recommend this as a place to visit for a massage as this is as close to authenticity as it gets. A nice place to spend half a day at. 😉👍🏻
  • What a serene yet lively place it is. It has been a while I went there but the memories still live on. The reclining huge Buddha and also the whole place with the pagodas. Even the weather was very welcoming, although sultry. And that amazing race. Wow just lit it all up. Too good an experience if u are at all spiritual and want to soak in the energy and the vibes of the place.
