Originally a private art collection belonging to Siegfried Rosengart and his daughter Angela, it is now housed in the former Swiss National Bank and open to the public. On our family vacation from the US my amazing wife (we’re both lovers of modern art) found this great modern museum a block from our hotel. This a must see small but mighty museum is full of works laid out beautifully, of primarily Picasso & Klee but also Moro, Monet, Cezanne, Kandinsky and more. This was a incredible treat and as I wrote in the guest book that Mrs Rosengart reads every day - “An unbelievably large collection!! So very well presented” Mrs Rosengart I hope your reading this 😄
