I read many reviews saying it's a relatively easy walk. Actually it's not as easy. Took me an hour to reach on foot and the view is absolutely amazing. Thereafter an hour to walk back to gondola...

Without a doubt the most breathtaking hike I have ever done. Too the gondola up and then did the first to bachalpsee hike, which was quite the tiring trek! We were rewarded with the most beautiful views!! Spent a few hours at the lake having a picnic, taking pictures and just taking it all in. Switzerland is such a gorgeous place! This was the most memorable stop on my trip so definitely make sure you go here! You will be blown away.

Beautiful lake just a short walk from First cable car station. Easily doable in summer as well as in winter with amazing views of Grindelwald!
