Create an itinerary including Dark View Falls
Hike to see Dark View Falls, two beautiful waterfalls of different heights. After crossing a bamboo bridge, you’ll trek up to the falls through lush flora. Don’t forget your swimming stuff, as the pools at the bottom of the falls serve as a great spot for a swim, and water from the larger the cascade gives a great massage. There are changing rooms onsite, as well as snacks and refreshments for sale. Bear in mind that the ascent to the falls covers a large number of steps. • One of my favorite spots to visit when in St. Vincent. You pay a small fee (cash only) to get in. We normally have hang out in the water then have lunch at the bottom of the falls. Take your own food and beverages.
  • 1. The members of staff who are in charge of greeting guests seemed to be very knowledgeable, friendly and are very proud of the waterfalls. 2. One has to cross a bridge to access the falls. It seems to be fairly sturdy. 3. The waterfall that one first sees is lovely and the water is shallow. 4. There is a second waterfall. One must climb a very, very steep set of steps to access them as well as climb some rocks. The rocks can be VERY slippery. Thus, if you do not feel 100% confident, do not take the chance. Do it slowly 5. The second waterfall is absolutely stunning and I saw some people go under it and it seemed to be refreshing. The water is shallow around the waterfall. 6. In relation to kids, the first waterfall is pretty amazing and children should not have too much trouble walking to it. As for the second one - be cautious. 7. The scenery is absolutely wonderful, so take the time to see all of the pretty plants and flowers. 8. There is a kiosk to purchase cold drinks.
