Good for snorkeling or swimming, Mullet Bay Beach features a crescent-shaped bay with rocky beach areas on the east and west ends and soft, white sand in between. Rest in the ample shade, or swim to the rocky areas at the end of the beach and observe tropical fish while snorkeling. Awesome spot. Chairs and umbrella for $30. Good food options and plenty of taxi’s to get back to port. If you want a spot to relax on the beach for a few hours… this is it.

Absolutely love this beach! Usually not crowded, water is clear. Watch out for currents when swimming, watched someone get caught in the rip current while I was there. Probably not the best beach if you have really small children.

2022 November 4.5* Off the cruise docks, you'll be confronted by many taxi's that will take you to one of the many beaches in town. I'm sure they collude to raise the prices up for tourists as I can't imagine how locals pay that amount daily to get around the island. For ~$15USD per person each way, they will take you to this beach. Prices go down slightly based on number of riders. If you walk out, from the port a bit into the city area (about 30 mins walk), you can probably haggle down the price a little - but if you want to go direct and not haggle, your better off just paying the amount at the ferry docks. Managed to get round trip for ~$70USD for 4 within the city. Once at the beach, the people charge you for the benches/umbrella. $20 for umbrella & 2 chairs. The beach itself is nice, clear, but on my day, it was a bit breezy and the waves really pounded you. It was still fun none the less. A bit pricey to come, but the beach is nice. Water is quite clear. Sand is fairly grainy but still worth checking out.
