    We stopped here to visit the 12th C castle, then 2nd C Roman Orpheus Monument, when we noticed this 15th C Church just behind the 16th C City Tower. What amazed us was its beautiful Gothic interior.....  more

    The Church was 100 % photogenic and carried amazing memories for me! I spent a great deal of time both on the interior and exterior of the church and my efforts were amply rewarded.

    Obviously one of the pearls of Ptuj is St. George's Church. It's located in the middle of the city and you can see it from everywhere. There are tombstones on the side of the church, which is rare. You can also have a cup of coffee while relaxing on the chairs in front of the church. It's also worth to visit the Church and sights around.
