We decided to go on a hike to Krvavec from the lower station of the cable car. The route is well marked and the nature was beautiful on a nice day but at the top everything was closed. We were hoping.... more

We visited Krvavec ski resort in Feb this year with our two boys. They loved this place. Busy car park so it is worth to set off earlier to get parking spot near cable car. We found this resort...

Nice ski resort suitable for beginners, recreational skiers and professionals. Good facilities, nice tracks. It can get crowded during weekends and holidays.

This is the bottom station of Krvavec gondola ski lift. It's gonna bring you to the main ski resort area where cafe and ski rental are located. Even if you don't ski the view from this lift is amazing by itself. There's free parking next to this station. Krvavec ski resort itself is one of the best in Slovenia. Nice diverse slopes, unfortunately looks like they only groom the slopes in the morning so to the lunch time there are quite big snow piles that make it challenging to ski. Also keep in mind that weather might change rapidly so that fog makes it impossible to see anything. Because of all this start skiing as early as possible.
