Jurong Lake Garden, Jurong East

The white stone benches maybe easy to maintain but they don't blend well with the surroundings. And they seem too hot to sit on. Wood would be nicer. This garden has one of the best children's playground ever. Imaginative n sure to delight. Renovation construction around spoils the experience. When will it end? The office Garden House is modernist n clean. But cold. No warmth. There's great effort put into this garden. I'm just wondering what is the x factor that's missing.

Had a nice walk here during weekday evening, it was pretty quiet and tranquil. The paths are very wide and spacious, while there are many trails at the same time. I love the views around the lake as it overlooks Chinese and Japanese gardens. This place is perfect for families to come to spend some quality outdoor time, there are plenty of benches to rest as well. Good photo spots are also all over, also good place to come with friends for a nice walk.
