Take in the contemporary African arts at Inema Arts Centre, a gallery and workshop for artists in residence. Run in a large house by two brothers, both self-taught painters, the center has installations in the garden and provides a venue for a number of art-related projects sponsored by international foundations. Browse the pieces exhibited, including colorful abstract art and spray-painted Volkswagen classics, and admire the hilltop terrace's sweeping view over the suburbs. Off site, the art center also runs a gallery in a suburban restaurant. • Large space on two floors with multiple rooms. Features one or two artists along with samples of art by several others. Offers an active community arts program.

  • Lovely place with lovely art promoting local artists and training orphaned children and those living around the community. The latte I had at the cafe was also very good and every part of the center was artistic. There were local artsy items on display for sale like ornaments, bags etc and various collections from all around Africa There was a dance and song practice by the children in the evening also.
  • The staff were amazingly friendly. They let us take pictures and were really helpful in general. The art pictures are really intriguing. They currently have an amazing "tech gorilla" at the center and its just magnificent 👌. There is a cosy coffee place inside too. I would definitely visit again
