  • This is a very interesting castle as unlike other Teutonic castles it looks like a horseshoe and was built mid 13th century. Today you can visit the ruins and also cellar like rooms with some...

  • Enjoyed exploring the castle ruins; well presented excavations and reconstructions. Wouldn’t be a wet day activity though! Worth the 10 zloty entry for sure, and is very walkable from central Toruń...

  • Really cool site. Lots of nice photo ops and a good history lesson. My only little complaint is that some of the signs are only in Polish which is fine if you use Google Translate. It isn't a huge complaint, just something to be aware of. I'ssay you need about one or one and a half hours to explore and read everything. Make sure you wear comfy sneakers to walk around since the ground is a bit rocky in places. Definitely add to your itinerary.
  • We visited the ruins during "fat thursday" fair. We got complimentary doughnuts with our tickets. The ruins looked impressive but there wasn't much to see. We walked around the area and soon realised that that was it. There were different activities as part of the fair. Horseshoe throwing, knife throwing and archery. If it wasn't for that i think we wouldn't have had as much fun as we did.
