Popularly known as the "mountain eyes," Black Lake consists of two dark green lakes connected together, nestled in a lush forest 1,416 m (4,646 ft) above sea level. With a depth of 49 m (161 ft) and length of 1,155 m (3,790 ft), these glacial lakes are the most famous in the region. Follow the 3.5 km (2.2 mi) of hiking trails, lined with tall cascades and small mountain streams. Snap photos of the mountainous landscape and view the rich wildlife. Beautiful lake surrounded by beautiful forest. We walked around the lake, the path is very nicely arranged. At the time of our visit, the water level was lower than usual, but it was still beautiful..... more

Take a 1-1,5h hike around the lake. Views to die for. One of the highlights of our stay in Montenegro 👌

Very nice hiking, starting from the nearly sky station. If you do start from the ski station and not directly from the lake, be warned that the return is harder, you'll have a bit more climbing up. Wonderful views.
