Create an itinerary including Casa Cenote
Just 10 minutes from downtown Tulum, Casa Cenote boasts a natural open cavern fed by water that flows into the Caribbean Sea. Nestled above a large underground cave system and set in a scenic mangrove forest, the cenote offers a picturesque place to escape the heart. Swim in the vibrant turquoise water of the cenote, meandering among the mangrove trees, while millions of small tropical fish swim around you and colorful birds sing in the trees. Rent snorkeling or diving equipment to further explore the basin, its diverse wildlife, and a network of hidden underwater coves. • We love going to eat at Casa Cenote. The food is good and priced fairly. The view of the water is great. We are often told that the internet is down and they can only accept cash, no credit cards...

  • What a great hotel! Our beachfront room is absolutely lovely. Not a chain of international hotels but a single stand-alone. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. Watching the sun rise over the ocean each morning is gorgeous. Great breakfast, great pool, right next to the Cenote manati which feeds into the sea beneath the hotel. Close enough to Tulum for visiting and supplies but far enough to be private. Evening cocktails looking over the sea...brilliant.
  • Great cenote with filtered light and crystal clear water!
