It’s interesting if you know the story of the abandoned place. The beach is also beautiful. Poorly i didn’t get the “wow” effect, so i could give five stars.

Interesting place to visit while visiting Liepaja. It's quite close, but I drove with a car as had a time limit. Car parking available. You can walk through of some decaying buildings, but be very careful as it is quite dangerous. There's also a quite clean rocky beach available for those who wants to refresh in the sea after a trip in hot summer. Not very busy during weekends.

A wonderful place to wander around on a sunny day. Care needs to be taken if you want to climb on the ruins and inside some of the buildings the roof is crumbling. But it's a fascinating piece of history on the edge of the beautiful city of Leipaja
