A turquoise swimming hole in the hills of Ocho Rios, Blue Hole remains a secluded and relatively untouristed hidden gem. Splash and swim to your heart's delight in this refreshing natural pool at the base of a pristine waterfall. The area has few amenities, so bring your own essentials and wear shoes appropriate for uneven terrain. First-time visitors should bring a guide to negotiate the slippery terrain and point out safe (and unsafe) diving spots. While Jamaica's larger tour companies rarely take visitors to this unofficial attraction, many of the smaller local operators offer guided walks that include stops at the waterfall. The blue hole was pretty fun, we got to jump off the platform in front of the falls. It seems like we were rushed through the whole thing. And if you didn’t want to jump they led you to the bottom...

Great place to visit, not sure if it's man made or natural. The reason why I'm saying it because there is a big collecting water conduit and a hydroelectric plant close to the location. Our guide was super helpful and went above and beyond with the help, service and welcoming. I prefer this place way better than the overcrowded Dunn's River Falls park.

Went to Blue Hole for the first time with my family & it was an amazing experience! I went twice as I was in Jamaica. We had the best tour guide ever. Ask for Coco when you get there. 🙌🏾🙌🏾 He was very attentive to my families needs throughout the entire time & made us feel calm even though most of us were scared to jump from the falls. Also provided clear instructions on what to do to ensure safety. He gave my sister and I a limestone bath which makes your skin nice and soft! If you don’t want to do something, he doesn’t force you. Make sure to bring cash with you, as there are small shops throughout the falls, wear swim shoes and at the end, tip your tour guide well for their great service! It was definitely a nice experience and a nice time to cool off in the hot Jamaica sun! Remember to ask for Coco the tour guide!
