It’s a beautiful church which is free to enter and the Campanile offers great views at just €7. There is also a beautiful maze garden you can go in at an extra cost.

Gorgeous place and the view on Venice is absolutely breathtaking! Definitely recommend to visit. There weren't many people during my visit so it's a nice refuge from the hectic centre of Venice.

The island and church of San Giorgio are a beautiful and quieter refuge from busy San Marco. It is an easy vaporetto ride from San Marco. Worth a walk around the island and church, which is one of the most beautiful in Venice, and there is a great view of San Marco and the doge’s palace from the island.
