Take a relaxing walk through Parco del Valentino, officially opened in 1856 as the country’s first public garden. The vast park contains a botanical garden, a castle, and a medieval village built specifically for the 1884 World’s Fair. The park stretches along the Po River and covers an area of about 50 hectares (124 acres). For the first few decades of the 20th century, the park served as the site of popular car races, the most notable of which was the 1948 Italian Grand Prix. The days of cars speeding over the park’s paved circuit are long gone, but the site still contains a special bench built in honor of Enzo Ferrari, perhaps the country’s best known racecar driver and automotive entrepreneur. Worth an hour or two. Quite busy, but lovely riverside walk. Food kiosks if you want them, and a recreated medieval village worth exploring too.

This really is a lovely park, close to the river. It's kind of informal but very well kept. It has a nice aspect.

🏞️ Peaceful yet energizing. This park is the best around Turin in my humble opinion, since there are many activities one can do. You can either visit the castle, the rocky garden, or rent a 4 person bicycle and have some fun with your family/friends. I suggest you to visit the Castle, although it's small, it has small shops with interesting gifts. If you just like to chill, just buy a drink and some snacks from the bars nearby, and enjoy the street artists in the area.

Calm, Serene. Perfect place for a walk. You can visit the castle in the midst of the park. Bonus fact : In the early days of Formula 1 they used to use the roads here as the race track.
