Lago di Tenno is situated in a wooded area. Its characteristic round shape is the result of a landslide that occurred around the year 1100, which blocked a stream and caused the lake to pool. Relax beside the lake and enjoy the calm of the surrounding mountains and woods, or embark on a short hike to tour the lake. In warm weather, take a dip in the crystal clear water, or sunbathe on the shores. The lake also has two islands, one of which only surfaces at certain times of the year when the water is low. Really nice and clear water. During September it was not really overcrowded. Parking is good, around 1.50 euro per hour.

Very nice and clean water. Be aware of the 118 stone steps that you need to take to go to the lake! When you come back..is a bit of a struggle 🤭 Also the beach is made of mountaint sharp stones! You need water shoes to walk there!!!
