    Since the town and its supposedly Necropolis are located on the same hill, I surmise that they are not only tombs all these grottoes... The depth of these big grottoes are amazing! You can tell that.....  more

    The site is a 1.5 km walk through the woods. It's a nice walk with some caves on the right side but way too long. The site itself is completely spread out in the woods so there is a lot more...

    A real surprise! A sort of small Matera albeit with various distinctions .... nice walk for a trekking immersed in the history and culture of the past.
