Built to commemorate the founder of the Jesuit order, the 17th-century Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola features an interior with gilded ornaments, marble reliefs, and remarkable frescoes. Admire the church's Baroque facade before heading inside to study the fresco glorifying St. Ignatius. Covering the ceiling of the nave, it creates an optical illusion of a dome. You can wander the plaza where the church is located to see examples of Rococo architecture. Stunning Baroque Art and Architecture! It’s not crowded at all. We just saw this church by chance and decided to have a look. Best decision we have made in Rome. Strongly recommended for art lover. amazing fresco on the ceiling. I’m surprised it hasn’t been a top tourist spots in Rome. Free guided tour also available.

Love this place for it's art work. I was walking from Trevi Fountain towards Pantheon and this place popped up from nowhere and captured my attention. Compared to all the other tourist attractions, this place wasn't crowded at all. It was beautiful when I walked in: the intricacy of the paintings on the walk and sculpture work. If you are going to Italy to experience its culture, I highly recommend this place.
