Galleria Borbonica, Naples

Amazing place, out guide was very good with big knowledge about this place. In Naples there are few "undergrounds" but this one is the best one. There are few entrance (3) 10-15 minutes walk from each other and it's depend if you need English tour /Italian or maybe you are with a kids and would like to enter with stroller.

Really excellent tour of the Bourbon Tunnels and the history behind them. We were only able to book this tour with a guide, which is just as well - there is no way we would have know any of the history. Its fascinating how the use has changeover time, but I'm sure the people of Napoli were really grateful during WWII to have a place to shelter - also sounds like the army done a very good job of modifying the tunnels and caves to make them more useful to the people. The recent history of storing confiscated cars, motorbikes & scooters give some good photo opportunities, and add to the development of the use of the tunnel, but the early stuff is the more interesting (in my opinion) Highly recommended visit - takes about an hour & will grab your attention right from the start.
